About Us

Arden House Projects is a Registered Charity and Voluntary Organisation that provides Day Care Services and Support Services for the Elderly and Frail in the Levenmouth and the surrounding areas which was established in 1982.

Arden is also registered as a Company limited by guarantee and is managed by a Voluntary Board of Directors.  We aim to work to our own quality of standards and to the principles of the National Care Standards which are Dignity, Privacy, Choice, Safety, Equality and Diversity.

We have been in existence for over 50 years and will continually strive to ensure Arden has a sustainable future and is able to serve the community of Levenmouth for many years to come.

We provide a range of services for older people living independently in the community, including day services for people who may be at risk of social isolation due to complex health needs.

Our Services and Core Values:

·         The service revolves around our Day centre offering Door to Door Transport, social activities and a home cooked 3 course lunch in a safe warm friendly environment.

·         We cater for the elderly and frail who are living independently in the community who are at risk of social isolation.

·         We encourage mental wellbeing with social stimulation with engagement from others and therefore making new friends.

·         At Arden we strive to give continued support which enhances the lives of our Service Users and there loved ones and the communities in which they live in.

Our staff are trained to help people maintain their skills so that they can remain independent as long as possible and this is reflected in the provision of activities. We have a wide range of activities which can range from Arts and Crafts, Seated Exercise’s, Musical Activities with guest singers, Quizzes and Crosswords and so much more.

We treat everyone that touches the Organisation with Respect and Dignity: Service Users, Staff, Volunteers and the wider community.

Carers Support

When people are at day care it allows carers (which can be either family or friends) time for themselves, this helps to reduce carers stress and burnout from their role as carer knowing there loved one is safe without worrying. Staff are always available for a chat to give advice about individual care or sign post you to other services which will provide further information and carers support.
